today was the first day of starting e-imr and i was quite depressed at this morning.. everyone was afraid.. after work, the IT staffs came and taught us again regarding the e-imr things.. and then Jian Li,Caren and i went to fish and co to have our dinner..
last night i didn't sleep very well coz of the stress of e-imr things, whole day i had gastric pain.. wakao... stress caused me gastric pain..
then tommorw i work night shift again.. woo.. god bless me!!

i think i'm going to get depression regarding the e-IMR..
for the benefit, it is easy to let your boss to check what time have u been given the medication to patient..
otherwise, it is only a big burden and uninvisible stress added to nurses..
the higher authority don understand us
they only know how to make it likes high tech.. look nice but actually consume a lot of time from the nurses. we r busy nurses, not slacking and sitting down at nursing counter!!

yesterday i worked pm shift and i purposely went there to work very early, i think i reached there at about 12:30pm... but who know i brought wrong thing when finally reached the hosp...brought 2 pants but didn't bring the top scrub shirt... super pian leh... i quickily called my colleages whether they got extra scrub shirt could lend it to me...too bad none of them got keep extra shirt with them.. then my clark helped me by calling the linen department staff and luckily they said can lend it to me...after that i run into the lift there to go to linen department,lol... and dr N suddenly jump out at outside of the lift and say hi to me!! so funny of him lor..
so i went back to work after changing my scrub uniform..after that dr N told us that he was born on 1986.. all of us didn't believe in him lor,included me too... coz it's hard to believe that there's such so young aged ppl to be a dr??then he showed us his IC to prove that he wasn't a liar... OMG,he really born on 1986 leh... so far he still 22 yr old as his birthday hadn't over yet!!i think he was the youngest dr whom i ever met.. :X

don know since when i started work night shift no longer ago, i was being labeled as 'jinx' to the ward... the 'jinx' here means the ward would always be full house if there's any empty beds in my ward during my night shift as well as there would be quite happening if there's already full house during my shift.. now many staff nurses knew about it and they were very scare to work night shift with me... Oops!
my last night shift was so terrible and yet so tiring and irrigating.. many things happended and felt angry for being so incompetent... a pt desaturated so badly and condition became worse, a pt was on severe hypoglycemia and on 2hrly h/c monitoring, a pt on 3 hrly eye drops,a pt c/o chest pain,received new admission,gave a lot of iv meds and do sponging for bed-bounded pts...
some conflicts happended between me with pt's family and a dr at that night too... i felt very bad and upset!!i hate the kind of feeling!!

last night was my third night shift and i nearly collapse as i overlooked the iv ppn in imr for a pt... and the pm shift staff never mentioned to me about to top up iv ppn for pt too when handed over report to me..she switched off her hp after work and couldn't find her.. so i only had to call am shift staff and asked. lukicily the am shift staff knew the dr's order for this pt. then i immediately went to top up the iv ppn for pt at midnight(first time i did it at midnight sia!!)
and the pm shift staff also never asked dr to amend the new order for another pt due to iv ppn increased to 2L...T.T(i could tell u that i nearly fainted in the floor)so i asked on-call dr to amend it.
in fact, not coz myself wanted to be evil,but I'M VERY SCARE TO RECEIVE REPORT FROM HER AS SHE ALWAYS MISSED OUT A LOT OF THINGS!! and sometime i get scolded from dr coz of her too!!
last night,i spend 2 hours and half in giving iv meds... my iv med list was so long.. oh my god,i gave it by myself alone for whole night!!T.T don't know why i always so busy whenever i work night shift.. now many staffs asked me to bath with flower at home before come to work.. think they realised that the ward was so busy when i was working night shift then they would teased me that all coz of me around...
One more night to go!! BUck up!!

ppl will forever remember the little mistake which i never did it on purpose... sometime i might forget certain things but some ppl will keep it into the heart.
Well, suit yourself as i already apologize to u.. whether or not u want to accept it, i couldn't help it too.
i still had to endure 2 more night in work!! I worked with a sn whom was a very strict ppl and my junior whom was a sn and she likes to backstab behind the ppl,good in talking but actually her performance neither good too.
in fact, i was stress when worked at night as i had to counter-check the things done by my juniors..After checking, then i realise that they still hadn't wake up from dream as something was wrong with some equipment,vital sign and iv drip..asked one of the junior regarding why didn't checked properly and her answer to me would make my blood pressure increase to 180/80mmhg!!

Yesterday i went to apply PR in Lavendar there..Reached that at around 11 plus and i started waiting myself to be called for submit some documents since 12pm.. And i had been sitting in there for 5 hours plus and finally became my turn to submit the documents... Luckily i brought a story book'baby girl' to there and read while waitng.. or else i thought i would be going to be crazy...In the end, i was the last person whom leave the PR department... Well,anyway,it's settled..
And last night i heard about a coronor case at other level in hosp.. It's a sad story.. Until now, i still worried for her although i didn't know her at all.. It would be very tough for her since the incident happended.. She had to answer all the questions by them, it's just likes u was sitting alone in the court as a defendant and the lawyers kept asking u a lot of question until u couldn't take it anymore..

Well, last night i was working night shift and i went to sleep after getting home... And i got a nightmare!! In the dream, i saw he got a niu peng you, i was feeling damn sad... Hmm, it's a weird dream,right?

Today i saw 2 HOs from my previous first batch team which i was just started working in there... The first one i saw was Raymond.. He looked more cheerful and less tired looking if compared to last time he was a GS Dr..Indeed GS Drs were tend to more busier in their work than other disipline, that's why always a lot of GS Drs look very tired whenever u saw them everytime... He was working in ortho ward now, good for him..The good point that he had was he was a very clever and smart ppl, he always know what was he doing and what need to be done for the patients...
The second HO i saw today was Eugene. He really was a big brother whom u could chat with him comfortably.. U definately would not see him acts likes as arrogant ppl or bad attitude ppl.. He was a very nice big brother!!A ppl whom u wished he could become your brother..

Last night was my first night to work in my working place and i wrote wrong info into my 2 night shift report... First time i did it since working... No wonder ppl always said that sick ppl easy to make mistakes when working...
So the next day i took my aunty's advice of seeking doctor and to get a mc and rest at home... After taking medicine, i started to feel dizzy and drowsy so i went to sleep.. Until now, i still felt drowy.... Luckily i got to get mc,otherwise i would be going to work two more night shifts together with my sickness... Felt a bit guilty that i unable to work night shifts and had to leave the other night shift staffs alone...

Today i went to watch 'twilight' after working as morning shift.. As expected, a lot of ppl also watched this movie when u saw the movie theatre were full of ppl,lol..
May be too addicted to the book,felt so excited when the movie started showing.... Well, the story in the movie and the book were slighty diffrent and i personally still felt that the story from the book was much better than the movie story... Indeed i couldn't expect too much as usually story book itself would be describe with more detail~~The most funniest thing was that i didn't expect the way Edward speaking so gentle:P And it made me laugh when he brought Bella to school with the smug looking~~ LOL!!

Last night i experienced the heavy task and met those WTH people for whole night... today was monday, expected to be very busy.. indeed it's true, luckily today i reached there more earlier and i found out that something never be done by am shift staff and she's quite new.. Helped her by informing her to do this or that and also helped her to inform a dr to amend something... and the dr was very rude through the phone, knew that his behaviour always likes that and so i didn't want to feel angry toward him.. I wasn't so petty,ok?
And t/f a pt to other place and pt's iv plug site was inflamated!! Then a ssn said i need to treat everyone in the ward a cup of starbuck as brother said so if need to write e-XXX... Told her that it's not fair to me as i just took over the case and i was also victim too.. she seems likes not happy... But do u think that she's right too? Hoefully she was just kidding... Really couldn't figure it out whether she really means it or not coz she looked serious when talked to me...... Alamak!! =(

Today i saw my np lecturer whom was my attachment lecturer in cgh when he went there to look for a np student whom currently attach to my ward for PRCP... He was Mr. Ismail!! He was so shocked to see me in the ward... As he was asking me whether i just came over here to help this ward or was it coz i from other ward... I was laughing and told him that i work in the ward lor... Ha.
When i woke up at this early morning before going to work, one of my toe was numb so suddenly and the numb sensation at my toe still exist until now... Felt weird ar?? I didn't know what happended too??

Today, my boss said i passed my probation... Oh, really thanks Gohonson for blessing=) Without sensei guidance and Daisaku Ikeda's encouragement words, i think i'll not be so strong to overcome the problems which encountered in my life. Sometime i feel bad that i unable to attend the monthly meeting since working...Oops!!:X But even since start working, the words from sensei book keep on appear in my mind and it seems likes sensei always stay besides me to encourage me to become even stronger and be positive... 'Always look at the bright side' when unfortunate thing or bad things happend on us occasionally...
And finally, i did the health screening blood test by today. Got inserted 3 times of needles then able to take my blood from my hand. On the third time of inserting needle,i almost wanna cry already lor,i got the needle insertion phobia since last time i went for do a blood test, that ppl whom took my blood caused the insertion site on my hand got green bruise and been painful for 2 WEEKS!! ;( Super scare those whom anyhow just insert needle w/o checking the vein properly:(
After reading the story regarding Daisaku Ikeda and his wife from the begining knowing each other until got married ..., i realised that true love can be so wonderful if two ppl are truly love each other until old age and the relationship btw them are still that so close and lovely... They have been together for more than 50 yrs!! =) So sweet of them...Hee. Of course everyone wishes can find a true love one day. Nowaday ppl likes to find a compatible partner whom suit him or her and mostly ppl likes the smart ppl if u got notice of it... And also ppl will tend to more prefer the well-dress and know how to make up gals... Sometime this's a reality lar... Fate can't be force anyhow... It's only the matter of time and the effort for maintain a lasting relationship btw a couple :P

Finally i finished working night shift already,yeah!!And i got my AL and a PH on this week so i no need go to work within this week,fun!! Tml i and xy will set off to genting lor=)
For the things that happended recently in my working place, i had been thinking throughly:
1. When i told u (person1)that i never do such things for many time already,pls don't suspect me anymore,coz i hate ppl to doubt on me while i really never do it...PLS!!Your expression showed that u was so unhappy toward that incident while i was totally never witness that incident... I hate ppl to push the blame to innocent ppl,including me!!
2. When i already explained to u (person2)that the dr order was likes that and the reason was so easy to understand,PLS don repeat ur lame question again.. It's super irrtating. U need to respect urself before other show respect to u too!!
3. When ppl was in bad mood or encounter unfortunate things, he or she need most was the support of his or her family or friends...
4. It's good a ppl to be smart,but it would be useless if this person was so selfish and bad attitude... I rather prefer those kind-hearted and friendly ppl...

Recently i working night shift and i only slept for about 5 hrs each day... Felt tired but unable to sleep for longer hour...Alamak!! Tonight would be my last night already...Oh my god!! Well,last night was my second night shift and again i was taking cases alone... On the way to my ward i saw a HO and he was so shocked to see me and look likes saw a ghost likes that:x And he was kidding that by telling me don't call him ar...(coz he was on-call HO on last night)... T.T"
After reached the ward,i checked the some stuffs and after that received report from pm shift staff nurse... Well, a pt admitted to my team when just finished hand over report from pm shift SN...At the same time i need to prepare a pt for op right now. I was likes a busy spider to settle these all things alone!!
The whole night i was busy with those pt who need go to take a x-ray,given blood transfusion for another pt,plus admit one more pt again at night... And a pt kept on c/o pain and i gave him morphine three time during my shift:(... Then a pt just falled down in front of me when i just leave the cubicle on 1-2 mins ago!! Oh my godness... Tried to run there to hold him but he just falled down so quickly and i unable to hold him in time... So ended up i need to wrote incident report for this pt whom never listen nurse's advice and insist to walked by himself... I felt so bad about it!!
This early morning sister asked me why the pt falled down and i got nothing to explain already since it happened already and it's beyond my control...It just happend too suddenly=( Luckily he didn't suffer serious injured after that... Or else i would feel more guilty about it... She asked me why the SSN never helped me during my shift as she knew that i was still quite junior for the night shift and i remained silence again...( How am i going to answer this question ?Coz i don know too lor)
Tonight would be the last night shift for me on this week... *prayed hard* Jia you...

After working in this society, indeed i learn a lot of experience and things that i may encounter it before... SOmetime it's hard to get along with some ppl when their working styles were different from us and also we need to respect each other which means no need to be so mean to putting hard a ppl in a tense condition while keep saying the mistake that made by them... SOmetime the worst part was some ppl only good in talking but the way of finish their work were totally terrible:X I learn a lesson that never to be so mean toward ppl if they really got no time to finish their own task or did some mistake,i rather appreciated ppl admit their mistake bravely but not to push all the blame to unrealted ppl instead... I hate that kind of ppl!!Lack of responsibility!! Especailly those whom trying to find a ppl to cover up their mistake that they made,they were so terrible lor!!=(

Luckily i got sensei guidance accompany me,or else i think i would be lack of encouragement and motivation liao.I found a guidance which was very useful for those whom likes to angry for minor things...

Today i was being alone to take case again lor... Thanks for Caren for helping me to give IV meds at early morning today as there's a lot of IV meds needed to be given to pts and furthermore today was monday.Monday always was the busy day:x
And today there's a dr quite funnny lor... Initially i informed him that pt got old meds and asked him to review it... Then he suddenly told me that the 'cai tao kui' tastes very nice... And i was immediately became blurred as i got no idea why he suddenly said likes that lor... I gave him a very blurred look... Then he explained that the pt had been doing family business by selling 'cai tau kui' and it's very famous among singapore... After explaining,finally i understood that why he suddenly said the 'cai tau kui' tastes very nice... Funny siaz. And Jasmines who helped out to type the dx summary also heard what he said just now and she was laughing at him too...:P
I knew that i would start to working alone in one team without having buddy anymore...Being independence!!

At last, two weeks passed by already,couldn't wait for my uncle and her wife come back from china... Think they would be back to s'pore by tomorrow bah...
Today was my first day alone to take the whole team and gave IV meds to pt by myself. Woo,sounded awesome?? Hee...Just kidding lar. Coz last time other staffs used to help junior staffs to give IV meds lor... But good thing was finally i could give IV meds by myself already...
Today i did a very funny thing lor, initially i called my AN Josephine to help me to send pt down to take x-ray...But i didn't know what's wrong with me today and i called her as Rocephine three time while waiting for her to anwer me whether she agreed to help me or not... Then my senior preceptor looked at me with a weird expression by turning back toward me and asked me why i called the AN as Rocephine... I was shocked as i didn't realised i called her as Rocephine( one type of antibiotic,oops!!). -.-" Then i asked her back:"huh,did i said Rocephine instead of Jocephine?" And another AN also verified that i did say Rocephine instead of Josephine... Oops:X
Then everyone whom around in there were laughing at me...Funny sianz!!=) I immediately apologized to the AN lor... Oops,my face was flushed with red color liao!! Haha.

Well,yesterday after work i went out with ah liew and jian li... We went to eat sushi at novena there... Haha,both of them were nice people lor and had fun with them...Yeah!!

The most funniest thing that i heard from a SN candra,:"hey,wan lin. Don't be so workaholic lar,later u can't find a bf because u are too busy at work..." And i was laughed out load as it's so funny lor... Hmm,now looking back for myself,i did admit myself was that type of doing my best and to become better and better... Think it's the reason that why they called me workaholic...:x Hee.
But i never told them that i had my own expectation and to improve my work speed as well as improve the medical knowleadge... I just wanted to become better and better....

Today my sister came back from her two weeks annual leave... And i asked her about getting leave to go to genting in the end of oct. And she allowed me to apply leave for that period!! Woo, so happy that i could apply leave as i wanted to have a short break!! Then this morning i immediately asked her to assess me the IV med. Finally i finished my IV checklist today... Feeling so good that next time i could give IV by myself..I wanted to be independence as soon as possible.
My uncle and my aunty both went to china for travel and the home seem likes very quiet... When i went back home i just felt bored,so spent time to read some med-surgical nursing management and the pathophysiology of disease and illness... At least it could kill my time...
There's still had some checklist not completed yet...*Fainted* ~~

Sometime i felt myself quite emo... May be my charater already likes that lor. Anyway, i still wanna to find a place and cool down my mood before it affect to other people. Yesterday i went out with delp. Had a great time at a restaurant for yam cha and ate dim sum...Yummy...
Then went to Raffles there and tao pah yao for window shopping.. Until 9 plus then took train to back home.
Got to know that our ward HO drs would finish their posting until this end of the month then go to other place for another discipline posting.. Most of them were nice and friendly.. Anyway,wish them happy working in the other place for the next posting!! =)

Today i went to take the BCLS test at 12noon.. Before that i was late to work and i was overslept!! In fact last night i set 2 alarm clock but in the end i didn't wake up at 6am!! Alamak!! My aunty quickily knocked the door and asked me how come i still slept on the bed at 8am..Aiyoyo, then i immediately took a taxi to work after changing my clothing...Ha, i thought i was too tired already until i couldn't hear the alarms rang T.T
Althought i was late but i quickily prepared myself to work in there when reached there lor...Helped junior to do basic care and then brought a pt to eye clinic and then helped to do some documentation... Then i went to have my lunch and headed to take BCLS test lor.. Ha
Luckily i passed the BCLS test. Thanks Gohonson!! *hug*=)
A few days ago i made a very funny thing unintentionally. I suddenly looked very pale and almost fainted at work.My both eyes were very blurred and couldn't see other people faces clearly... Walked unsteadily toward a senior nurse and told her that i felt very uncomfortable. Then two students assisted me to go to tea room and rest lor. When reached at tea room,some colleages asked me why i looked so pale and the clark who worked in our ward also said that i looked very pale too... I didn't know what to say because i didn't know the reason too. After resting for a while then i went back to work lor... At first, i really may fainted in there because suddenly i felt very dizzy and had ringing in ears too while waited for the consultant explained something to pt's family members... I told myself don't fainted in there otherwise thing might turn out so funny...Could u imaging a nurse fainted in front of so many patients and drs as well as nurses? Ha,thought it would give them a big shock lor. :P
Today i went to bpp and saw the lovely laptop. It was a laptop produced from toshiba company... Wah, i want the laptop leh but so far i still need to save money until certain amount then able to buy it lor... Aiya,never mind lar,bear with it for another few months then i would go to buy a laptop!! Hee=)

Yesterday i went to night safari with one gang of friends. Had great time to have fun at there. The feeling was likes a very memorable gathering. Realised that i never went out with one group of ppl for long time ago since graduated.Ha.And Hafizah became the driver to fetch us to night safari. So nice of her!! Before headed to night safari,we had dinner at woodland until 7pm then went to there.
Also very long time i didn't upload photos into my blog coz of two reasons:1.seldom have outing with friends since working,2.PC was spoilt... :(

When i was a child,my grandma loved to hold my little hand when we went out to buy something or when we crossed over the road...
Everytime i went out with her,i liked to walk besides her by holding her hand.In this world, the person whom loved me most was my grandma.
During my childhood,the person who treated me the best also was my grandma. My grandma was a ordinary woman but she really taught me a lot of things that i would remember forever.
Sometime i wonder whether she still watched over me and protected me when she wasn't around at this world anymore.

Yesterday i watched a movie,named 'accuracy of death'. The actor of the movie was takeshi kaneshiro. He's damn handsome and good-looking. And i liked the story of 'accuracy of death' too. Some part of their convensation were quite funny. In the story, he was a Grim Reaper who would appears seven days before a person died an unexpected death. His job's to observe the person for seven days, and then decided either to ‘execute’ or ‘pass over’. While he's working, he always accompanied by a black dog and there must be a rainny day. Those who are interested pls watch the movie!! =)
Today, i went out with rebbaca and xiu yi. Had lunch at thai restaurant at cck. Then they went to my uncle home to play with rainbow. Again, prepared myself and get ready to work on tomorrow!

One friend told me something that i would not forget forever. What would u think tat ur attitude should be when u encounter the problem in ur work esp in nursing? As u known, nursing patients were indeed need compassion and patience.
She told me that sometime we might lose of patience when we encountered too much problems and work. What if u understand the other ppl's situation/ condition, then u wouldn't feel likes so frustrated in ur work.
Indeed it's very true.... Usually ppl were easy to get angry and liked to argue with other when they were in sick or very ill. Sometime u might realised that some ppl would vent their emotions to the nurses by getting some excuses to create trouble to them. Then the nurses had to bottle it up by themselves.
In fact,working in this society were not jz only to earn money,but it also was a place where it challenge us how to solve the problems and difficulty. For example, we sure would have a hard time at the begining of work. When i always felt that other ppl's work were more easier than mine,then my friends told me that actually their work were not easy too. Different aspect had the different challeging too! Sometime i also would felt that other ppl's performance were better than me in work too.I also would asking myself whether i really did very badly in work or not. Nevertheless,i realised that nothing was difficult as long as u never give up urself and willing to continue to move on although there's a obstacle was trying to stop u from moving on. The more we do,the more experiences that we had.

I have been feeling down on tis few days. I was upset abt the disaster earthquake happened in Si Chuan,China. I was sorry to hear that there were 15 thousands of ppl whom died during the earthquake on a few days ago. And the tv also released the news abt Myanmar ppl had to bear the hungry due to the insufficiency of rice supply and high price of selling the rice by the bussiness man.
Looking at these news,i felt that we were lucky to live in a peaceful country and never encountered tis kind of disaster.I empathised them, those whom were died unfortunately in the disaster.
An unexplained reason of feeling so sad until felt likes a sense of crying...
